AAT NVQ L2 Accounting (Foundation)
If you want to learn how to carry out basic book-keeping transactions or you would like to gain a formal accounting qualification this could be the course for you. This course is most useful for those working, or seeking work, in an accounting environment but not necessarily in accountancy practice.
The course is modular, covering:
• Recording Income and Receipts
• Making and Recording Payments
• Preparing Ledger Balances and an Initial Trial Balance
• Supplying Information for Management Control
• Working with Computers
• Contribute to the Maintenance of a Healthy, Safe and Productive Working Environment
• Achieving Personal Effectiveness
Candidates will sit the “Preparing Ledger Balances” examination and will also be required to submit a portfolio of work throughout the course. Work for assessment will be from AAT Simulations and work based activities.

AAT NVQ L3 Accounting (Intermediate)
The course is suitable for those with experience working in accounts, who are able to understand and carry out double-entry transactions and have already gained a book-keeping or accounts qualification.
• NVQ Level 2 Accounting
• A Level Accounts (Grade A-E), or 2 other A Levels (Grade A-E)
• BTEC National Diploma/Certificate in Business & Finance
• At least 3 years relevant accounting experience, with knowledge of manual book-keeping
The course is modular, covering:
• Maintaining Financial Records and Preparing Accounts
• Recording and Evaluating Costs and Revenues
• Preparing Reports and Returns
• Working with Computers
• Contribute to the Maintenance of a Healthy, Safe and Productive Working Environment.
Candidates will also sit 2 examinations “Evaluating Costs and Revenues”
and “Maintaining Financial Records”.

17th Edition Wiring Regulations
This 10 week course enables candidates to demonstrate that they are conversant with the IEE Wiring Regulations BS7671:2008. The course is vital for practising electricians and other allied professionals needing to update and enhance their understanding of IEE Wiring Regulations. A basic knowledge of electrical theory and the potential to study at this level is required by all candidates. Successful candidate will achieve a City & Guild Level 3 qualification.
16th Edition Wiring Regulations (Top Up)
This course is aimed at those who hold a level 2 electrical qualification and require certification in the latest electrical wiring regulations. Students must normally have GCSE or equivalent in English.
C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing
This 11 week course is ideal for those required to inspect and test electrical installations. Students are encouraged to use their own copies of the relevant booklets Candidates will have ideally studied BS7671 Wiring Regulations or have adequate industrial experience and successful completion of the course and examination will result in achievement of a City & Guild Level 3 qualification.
